Shea is one of those people that you hang out with for just 5 minutes and suddenly a bad day becomes an AWESOME day. She’s always smiling, and she’s always making other people smile too. Shea loves to read, especially the books from the Junie B. Jones series. We at The Monday Life of course have never heard of Junie B. Jones or the 27 book series (but if we had, our favorite character would definitely be Junie’s little brother Ollie). Shea gets lots of SUPPORT from her family and friends while she’s in the hospital, but she has no idea just how many other people out there (like you!) are pushing for her to get better and thinking about her. That’s a problem…
So here’s what we’re going to do about it.
We’re going to provide children’s hospitals with SUPPORT. Everybody donates to children’s hospitals, but many times these kids that they’re helping don’t even know about it! How awesome would it feel to hear that people are giving away their time and money just because they care about you?? Even complete strangers! We’re going to make sure the kids know exactly how many people are thinking of them and want to help them get better. And we’re not just going to stop there. We’re going to make get-well cards, bake cakes, paint pictures, make videos, buy planes and write messages in the sky if we have to, just to make sure these kids know that we’re all pulling for them and thinking of them. After all, they deserve it, they’re the bravest kids on the planet.
