FUN
Corey talked to us about how we could make his hospital experience more fun. Which turned out to be quite a fitting topic since Corey is such a FUN guy to talk to. We ended up spending about triple the time it would normally take us to interview someone just hanging out and talking to Corey and his father about the Panthers, Corey’s hobbies, and just about anything else that came to mind, including, of course, FUN. Unfortunately though, we learned that since being in the hospital means that he doesn’t always have access to all the awesome stuff he has at home, Corey’s definition of FUN at home is a lot more FUN than his definition of fun in the hospital. That’s a problem…
So here’s what we’re going to do about it:
We’re going to provide children’s hospitals with FUN. Why??? Because nothing is more fun….than FUN! Unfortunately, the definition of fun for us oldies probably consists of sipping a nice cup of tea while reading the newspaper…BORINGGGG. Fun probably means something a lot different to teens, and something completely different to toddlers, etc. So that’s exactly why we’re going into the hospitals and individually asking each of these kids what they need to make their experience in the hospital more FUN! And thennnnnnnnn….we’ll make it happen! After all, they deserve it, they’re the bravest kids on the planet.
